However, not everyone was able to get their copies of Little Nightmares 2 on time. The horror puzzle-platformer also launched as a physical release in addition to the digital version of the game, largely thanks to the cult success of its predecessor. The well-received Little Nightmares sequel takes place before the events of the first game and introduces a number of new elements to the series, including a simple combat system alongside gameplay with the AI-controlled Six from the original.
